Ms. Kovats has been in the entertainment industry since she was fifteen. Prior to becoming the Vice President – Licensing & Marketing Division, twenty-two years ago for TED SWINDLEY PRODUCTIONS tsp.wpmudev.host, whose greatest success has been the worldwide musical hit, ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE, she worked as a theatrical agent at The William Morris Agency, and Bret Adams Agency, both in New York City, and with Flick Agency in both Los Angeles and New York City. Her greatest success as a theatrical agent was when she owned her own theatrical agencies in both New York City, and Los Angeles, representing such clients as Mickey Rooney, Bob Denver, Ben Vereen, Al Pacino, Gene Barry, Della Reese, Barry Williams and Philip Michael Thomas of “Miami Vice” fame to name a few, as well as countless Broadway and Daytime Drama Stars. Ms. Kovats began her career as an actress and singer starring in musicals such as “Oklahoma” as Ado Annie, “Guys N Dolls” as Adelaide, “Hello Dolly” as Dolly, “Mame” as Mame, and many, many others. She performed her nightclub act in various clubs throughout the United States, and Canada and also starred in a number of Off-Broadway Productions, and First Class National Tours in various plays, most notably the Pulitzer Prize Winning Play, “No Place to be Somebody”, by Charles Gordone. She has also worked on numerous entertainment projects as a Casting Director, Publicist and Producer. Currently she is developing a workshop called “Get a Cue: Raising the Curtain on the Business of Show”.
